Arabia Sketch book
Snell, John These sketches are from pages of a journal kept by John Snell. John worked from June 1997 until October 1998 on the construction of the new National Museum of Saudi Arabia as the Senior Architect representing the firm of Moriyama and Teshima, Architects from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on behalf of the Arriyadh Development Authority. This project celebrates the centennial of the beginning of Saudi Arabia and opened January 1999. The museum is featured as the first stop for the Smithsonian Museum tours. John is also a professional artist with work in many private and public collections in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. He has had a number of one-man shows and participated in many juried group shows.
